This is the Carrie dress, the second of sachi Vixen’s Sex and the City inspired releases. For just 500 lindens, you get a stunning full-length gown, two kinds of miniskirts (the flexi option is shown in the picture, since my rather hippy shapes don’t generally agree with micromini skirts) and panties and stockings for a lingerie look.

I am really, really liking what that corset top does with my avatar’s waist and hips, and I must say that a corset top combines really well with that sort of large gown skirt. On a hippier sort of avatar, it makes the flexi fit so much better without any need for resizing. And just how fabulous is that colour? I love the way it goes so dark in places, almost like a velvet, but is still has a satiny shine. Its a decadent red most at home in a boudoir, I think.

Worn with the dress is the Princess Calanthe jewellery in white by Alienbear and the fabulous new City Sandals in black by Damen Gorilla of Adam n Eve. Those are some seriously nice sandals.

What better way to show off jewellery than with nothing to distract from it? Well, okay, nothing except the fabulous Pixel Deep skin, here seen in a slider-modified version of the Dark tone. As it happens, all of the Pixel Deep skins (the Lustre and the Fit versions in all five tones) and all of the extra makeups are on sale for 50% off at the moment. That’s a pretty darn fabulous deal seeing how much a pack includes (lots of makeups, lots of eyebrow & pubic hair options) and I am thinking I will need to pick up the Fit versions of the Medium and Dark to go with my Lustre versions. I would, btw, recommend the Fit over the Lustre, as it has some little touch-ups here and there. So unless you really mind some stomach definition, that’s the way to go.

What about the jewellery, though? Well, hot on the heels of the previous set, Tekeli-li has released yet another imaginative masterpiece. Called Mielikki, it is yet another set inspired by Finnish mythology. This set features a mixture of wood, metal, gems, leather and horn, and is colour-changing in five separate sections. The full set consists of bracelets (and cuffs), choker (and collar), earrings and a headpiece. The earrings are also scripted to allow you to select how many of the piercings you want to show. It is, as always, very well made and just lots of fun. I am particularly keen on the horn on the headpiece.
