Thanks to Ornamental Life, I was alerted to the one-day sale at Tekeli-li on the 2nd of April. I had been curious about their rather unique-looking fantasy jewellery before, but I hadn’t actually checked it out. Silly me. As soon as I got over there, and found a large collection of full sets of stunning jewellery at incredible prices (incredible even before the sale price of 47% off, mind you), I knew that the cleaning out of my inventory I had done a few days earlier would be all in vain. Now I’d get to clean out some lindens instead. ;)
I somehow managed to not buy every set in the shop (though in addition to the 7 that I did get and will be showing in this entry, I also picked up some fantasy weapons), but it was not without some effort. I went back several times to pick up more sets, after trying on the previous purchases and finding them even more stunning than their pictures showed them to be. They are beautifully crafted (but yes, quite prim heavy, so probably nothing to wear at the next fashion show) and the scripted colour-changing makes for amazing variety. On some pieces, there are as many as 5 different sections that you can change individually. That means that for between 200 and 400 lindens, you get a set of jewellery that you can transform in an awful lot of ways.

Here we have Icegarden and Medusa, quite a study in contrasts. Icegarden is delicate and ethereal and Medusa is strong and fierce. Icegarden consists of bracelets, a choker, a collar, cuffs, earrings and a necklace. The collar and the cuffs are versions of the bracelets and the necklace that come with a ring integral to the design. I didn’t see any chains at the store, however. ;) The choker and the necklace can be worn together, as I am showing here, or separately. Medusa comes with armbands, bracelets, collar, cuffs, earrings and a necklace. There is also a hair at the store with matching hair ornaments. This is not the case for every set, however.
The next two sets are Morgana and Nephthys. Morgana has a fantastical feel to it and Nephthys is clearly Egyptian-inspired. Morgana consists of bracelets, a collar, cuffs, earrings and a necklace. Medusa comes with bracelets, earrings and a necklace. I am, I must say, quite stunned at how well everything fitted me. The Nephthys necklace is a particularly impressive achievement.
Finally, we have Persephone, Scheherazade and Sinqui. Persephone is fit for a fairy or an elven queen, Scheherazade is a stunning oriental-inspired piece and Sinqui is, like Morgana, just sheer fantasy. Persephone comes with bracelets, a collar, cuffs, earrings and a necklace. Scheherazade comes with bracelets, earrings, a headpiece and a necklace. Sinqui comes with bracelets, a choker, a collar, cuffs, earrings and a headpiece. Persephone was the first piece I picked up, its incredibly pretty. Sinqui I almost missed, actually, until the store owner noted that it, too, had a headpiece after I said how much I liked the headpiece on Scheherazade.
In addition to filling up my inventory with jewellery, I also ended up buying the skin I am using for these shots. Or rather, I bought the whole pack of makeups for the Ghost tone of Stella di Roccia from PixelSpa. At 500 for 10 make-ups (each with two eye-makeup versions as well as a freckled versions), I just couldn’t resist it, and I have hardly been able to take the skin off since. Its been perfect for some of the fantasy-inspired photography I have been doing with all the jewellery and with my final new purchase, Silent Sparrow’s stunning Coronis Suite in Silver. Its available both in a gown version and a suit version for women as well as a suit version for men. I bought the gown first, and today I added the suit as well. The brocade is amazing and you get so many options for how to wear it.
Hehe I’m on my way to soon owning everything in the store:P Has been a hobby of mine to collect his pieces ever since I first found him on Onrez. These are absolutely fantastic:)
Nice hobby, I think I might be taking it up too. ;) I am so glad I found out about the sale, it was an excellent start to a new addiction.
There’s no group for the store, is there? I poked around a bit, but couldn’t find one.
