I may be very much into fantasy outfits, but fantasy skins are a new thing for me, since my avatars all tend to be human rather than elves or anything along those lines. However, I just couldn’t resist showing off sachi Vixen’s Adore-able drow skin after seeing just how well it suited me. I also couldn’t resist the new Vanessa outfit from Bare Rose (I am starting to amass quite the collection of outfits from them); as soon as I saw it on their blog, I knew it had to come home with me. So, the end result is, I think, one very pretty drow in a charmingly naughty lace outfit.
Skin: Adore Drow t3 Ruby by Adam n Eve
Hair: Rachel Silver by Adam n Eve
Outfit: Vanessa by Bare Rose; Classique Silver Adam n Eve
The drow skin is the most recent skin release from Adam n Eve and it is based on sachi’s very flattering Adore skinline. It comes in three shades of grey/black (I am showing the darkest tone here), with four makeup options (this is the luscious Ruby makeup), and I actually found that it works better on my avatar than the regular Adore skin. That one is almost too pretty for my shape, whereas here the darker colour gives it a bit more sharpness.
The outfit, then, is Vanessa from Bare Rose, and it is yet another incredibly well-crafted and astonishingly cheap creation by June Dion. Lately, she has been making fabulous use of sculpties; the lace bolero, the arm puffs and the top of the skirt all uses sculpties.
Of course, I wanted to show a bit more of the skin, as well as some other ways of wearing the outfit, because as always with Bare Rose you got a ton of pieces (included with your purchase is also a black and white version of the outfit) and lots of options.
So, what do you think? Adore-able, right? Apologies for the bad pun, but I do think it is. ;) If you are in the market for a drow skin, you can now get a really high-quality one from Adam n Eve. I think I can almost guarantee you the prettiest behind of any drow, and the makeup selection is quite tempting (in addition to Ruby, there is Ebony, Gold and Purple Passion).
And if you need some fanciful clothing to go with the skin, do check out Bare Rose. They’ve got everything from lingerie to high fantasy (a lot of it in both male and female versions ... well, okay, not the lingerie) and at the prices they sell for you can probably afford to try a few things out just for fun.
