The talented Tuli released yet another gorgeous and unconventional gown today, somewhat in the same vein as her Caliah gown from the opening of the Muse sim. Actually, she released two very pretty and girly gowns, but the one that really captured my attention was Yvette. Moments after she had announced the release, she also sent out a copy of the Yvette gown in a special colour to her update group, and I ended up squeezing into the gift while running over to take a look at the three colours that were put up for sale; blue, eggplant and mauve. Since I couldn’t decide which one I liked best, I ended up with all of them. At 500 for three, its a steal, but if you decide that one is enough that will only be 250.

Here is the whole outfit in the gorgeous eggplant colour. The prim skirt comes in two different styles, with and without the bows, but of course I went for as many frills and girly options as possible. Though, admittedly, I see it more as a saucy barmaids outfit, so girly isn’t the main thing that pops into my mind. Either way, the colours are all stunning and the white on the lace and the blouse (and the bloomers beneath) is really well done.

This, I imagine, is how the saucy barmaid might end up looking later in the evening, back in her room or perhaps up in the hayloft. ;) Of course, I’ll pretend that I took this shot just to show off the bloomers and to point out how effectively done the shading on the bodice is, with the drop-shadow making it look as if it isn’t perfectly skin-tight at the top and bottom (as it wouldn’t be if it was a little stiff). The back of the bodice is also really well shaded.
The pretty nipples on the Blowpop skin are just accidental. ;)
As soon as I had picked up the dresses, I knew they provided me the perfect opportunity to wear my lovely Elizabeth boots from Lassitude & Ennui. I also couldn’t get out of the Divine hair; its my new favourite for how well it captures the look that I love to describe for my MUSH characters, with tendrils of hair framing their faces.
