Bastard of godsgrace and Linda. BoG and I had an interesting discussion of the Hugo nominees, finding out where we were in agreement and where we differed. I will say that on the whole I was happy with the results. I got Clarke right for novel, had Stross just behind Denton for Novella (what can I say—I love dogs),  had Link second for novellete behind Rosenbaum. I was not very much in agreement with short story, but to be honest it was slim pickings there (I voted Kelly first, in case you’re wondering).

I forgot to mention that this was a very short ceremony, effeciently run—about an hour and a half. I believe the Port Authority reported that it was the shortest on record; not sure if that’s true or not, but it was fast.
